On 22nd March, 2024, BKBIHE organised an industrial visit to Parle Biscuit Pvt Ltd, manufacturing plant located at Bahadurgarh, Haryana for the practical experience of the students. The visit proved to be an enlightening experience for the students, offering them a glimpse into the intricacies of biscuit manufacturing and distribution. The students were provided a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facilities at Parle Biscuit Pvt Ltd, where they witnessed first-hand the various stages of biscuit production, quality control measures, and packaging processes.
Engaging presentations and interactive sessions further enriched their learning experience, providing them with valuable industry perspectives. The objective of this visit was to provide real exposure of industrial environment to the students.
This exposure would help in narrowing down the gap between academics and industry to enable the students become more problem-solving oriented. The students from different disciplines like Commerce, Management, Science, and Arts participated in the visit. They were accompanied by Ms Sapana, Ms. Jyotsna Sharma, Mr. Vikram Sharma and Mr. Ajay Sangwan.
Following the insightful visit to Parle Biscuit Pvt Ltd, the students, filled with enthusiasm and excitement, proceeded to Pratapgarh Farm for a leisurely excursion. Surrounded by the serene ambiance of the farm, they were engaged in recreational activities, including nature walks, organic farming demonstrations, and team-building exercises.
The industrial visit to Parle Biscuit Pvt Ltd and the subsequent trip to Pratapgarh Farm undoubtedly left a profound impact on the students of BK Birla Institute, underscoring the institution’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with both academic prowess and practical acumen.
